Jacob Turner

President

I began working with Richard Yoerk and Express Personnel in 2001 as a key leader in business development. In 2003 I took over the day to day management and development for Rovers Security, a subsidiary of YS2 Group, the parent company of Express Personnel and Rovers Security. In May of 2007 I formed a new company named RS Managements Services Co., which for that year managed all of Rovers Security's event accounts. In the beginning of January 2008 RS Management Services Co. purchased Rovers Security Co.

Prior to becoming a partner in Rovers, I served 3 ½ years in the United States Army National Guard where I applied discipline and motivation in my role as Squad Leader. Security experience was obtained through various field and garrison security details. Later I worked in sales both outside and in, then became the General Manager of a modeling agency, putting to use my management skills as well as sales and customer service.

I have worked closely with the Oregon Department of Public Security Standards and Training to insure that all Rovers Security officers are certified and trained as required by the State of Oregon. In addition, I have orchestrated an internal training program designed to keep our officers proficient at the state mandated skills, as well as offering new skills in customer service and numerous situational trainings developed to teach skills in handling threats and natural disasters.

I was born and raised in Portland Oregon, graduated from Benson High School attended Mt. Hood Community College and Portland Community College. I am married and have a baby daughter, and currently live in SE Portland.
